Abstract
This volume is the final report on excavations by the La Trobe University Alambra Archaeological Mission at the primarily Middle Bronze Age settlement of Alambra Mouttes in Cyprus from 2012 to 2016. It provides a full analysis of the architecture, ceramics, stone artefacts and small finds. The latter include two copper ingots, the first of their type to be found on the island. There are specialist reports on a human burial found in one of the domestic units, on the archaeobotanical remains and on the chemical analysis of the metal artefacts. In the final chapter the authors offer a detailed discussion of the evidence for regionalism and regional interaction at Alambra and the nature and possible causes of the abandonment of the settlement toward the end of the Middle Bronze Age. with contributions by Bianca Casa, Andreas Charalambous, Carly Henkel, Vasiliki Kassianidou and Evi Margaritis.
