Abstract

This volume brings to publication, after many years, material excavated at different times by six different archaeologists at the Mycenaean cemetery at Vravron on the east coast of Attica, Greece. It presents the full documentation of the architecture, pottery assemblages and other finds from 37 Mycenaean tombs, based on extensive archival research in the Museum of Vravron, the National Museum of Athens, the Archaeological Society of Athens, the excavation diaries and preliminary reports. Detailed tomb by tomb descriptions and illustrated find catalogues are followed by chapters on burial customs, pottery, figurines, metal and miscellaneous objects and a historical overview.
